Matt Langel is a former professional basketball player and current head coach of the Colgate University men's basketball team. He was born on August 21, 1979 in Bethesda, Maryland. Langel played college basketball at Pennsylvania State University, where he was a standout player and captain of the team.
After college, Langel played professional basketball in Europe for several years before beginning his coaching career. He served as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Pennsylvania State University, before being hired as the head coach at Colgate University in 2011.
